Challenge Week

Spiritually enriching, wholesome fun, and challenging activities

Who?

All young men ages 10-15. (Limit of 80 campers)

What?

There are two main goals of Challenge Week. The first is to equip young men with knowledge of the gospel. The second is to encourage them to develop skills and knowledge so that they can become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

Throughout the week we aim to cultivate teamwork, diligence, self-discipline, and respect for authority. At the end of the week, we test campers knowledge in the Spiritual Olympics and celebrate the achievements of the week.

We also provide exciting personal challenges, both physical and spiritual, throughout the week. These challenges include things like archery, marksmanship, verse memorization, knot tying, and many more. We recognize achievements in these areas with pins that campers can display on their hats. We have exciting group activities that develop teamwork and strategy, often reinforcing the lessons from the week. During free time, we enjoy fun activities like the pool and water slide, 9-square, ga-ga ball, basketball, soccer, and even some crafts. Each camper receives a Challenge Week hat at the beginning of camp and a t-shirt upon completion of the week.

Campers staying for both weeks will have the option to go home after the end of Boys Camp (10am on Saturday, July 27) until check-in for Challenge Week or participate in a special one-day transitional program that will give them the opportunity to rest and enjoy activities on the grounds. This one-day program will cost $40 (register for both weeks, or for this one-day program here).
