Going Forward in the Work of a New Assembly

Since the beginning of His assembly, the Lord Jesus has been forwarding His interests in this world through calling out souls by the gospel and gathering these believers into local assemblies. Bruce and Amie Hulshizer have had the privilege of seeing the Lord raise up a new local assembly about a decade ago and open a door to minister to nearby college students. Let’s consider some principles related to the effort to advance God’s interests in a new local assembly, such as obeying when God burdens, going forward in faith, functioning as part of the body, loving people fervently, perceptively praying, laboring hard, pursuing hospitality, shepherding actively, nurturing rich real fellowship, and investing in the next generation.
